Margaux: Craftsmanship, beauty, and passion are the values that havedistinguished your designs. How
would you describe your values in referenceto fashion design?

Alessia: Fashion, for me, is more than just clothing—it’s an art form that tells a story. My values in design are deeply
rooted in authenticity, innovation, and emotional connection. I believe that every piece should have a purpose,
whether it’s to empower the wearer, challenge conventional norms, or simply bring joy. Craftsmanship is essential because true beauty lies in the details, and passion is the driving force that keeps me constantly exploring new ideas.

Margaux: Have you given any thought to what you would like to study after you finish secondary school
or high school, and where would you like to study abroad?

Alessia: Yes, I have been considering several options. I would love to study fashion design and business at a prestigious
institution like IstitutoMarangoni in Milan. These schools not only provide incredible technical training but also
encourage creative freedom and innovation, which are essential for my growth as a designer. I am also considering studying business and marketing at universities such as IE Madrid. Studying abroad would allow me to immerse myself in
different cultural influences, helping me refine my vision and expand my global perspective.

Margaux: Which fabrics do you choose to express your designs, and which are your favorites?

Alessia: I love working with a variety of textures to create contrast and depth in my designs. For structured pieces,
I lean towards premium wool and silk blends, while for flowing, romantic silhouettes, I prefer chiffon, organza, and
lightweight tulle. I also have a deep appreciation for innovative, sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and bamboo
silk, which not only feel luxurious but also align with my vision for a more responsible fashion industry. My absolute
favorite, however, is silk—it embodies elegance, versatility, and timeless beauty.
